Error when trying to attach a document to invoice

 

If you're getting the following message when you try to attach a document to your invoice....

"The difference between the request time and the current time is too large"

You'll need to check your system time to make sure it is set to the correct time zone and is synchronized with the internet.

The time and date can be adjusted in the lower right corner of your screen. The process is similar for all versions of Windows. Click the time/date to bring up this display.



 

click "Change date and time settings..."

 

On this screen, make sure the time zone is correct. If not click "adjust time zone" and adjust it accordingly.


 

 

 

Next we need to synchronize the clock with internet time. Click the tab at the top for "Internet time"



 

 

 

On here, click "Change settings..."

 

 

Then click the button to "Update now"



 

 

It may give an error the first time, but after 2 or 3 attempts it should be successful. If you don't get a success, try changing the server in the drop-down menu.
